On-Aircraft Support

Flightline Support

On-demand support for maintenance facilities, FBOs and flight departments — diagnosis and fault isolation at the aircraft.

Overview

Support where the aircraft actually is

Plenty of avionics problems are cheaper to solve on the ramp than in a shop, provided someone with the right equipment and experience looks at them there. Removing a unit that turns out to be serviceable costs downtime and proves nothing.

We work as an extension of your maintenance team: diagnose on the aircraft, isolate the fault, and only then decide whether anything needs to come off.

What You Get

How we approach it.

Four things that shape the work, and that you can hold us to on any job.

  • 01

    Diagnose before removing

Fault isolation on the aircraft first, so parts come off only when they are actually the problem.

  • 02

    An extension of your team

We support your technicians rather than taking the aircraft away from them.

  • 03

    Equipped for the ramp

Diagnostic and test equipment brought to the aircraft, not improvised on arrival.

  • 04

    Clear handover

You get findings and recommendations you can act on, in writing.

Process

How the work runs

Every job follows the same four steps, so you always know which stage yours is at.

  1. 01

    Support request

Tell us the aircraft, the symptom and the location. We confirm what we can bring and when.

  2. 02

    Technician dispatch

A technician attends with the diagnostic equipment the reported fault calls for.

  3. 03

    On-aircraft diagnosis

Systems tested in place, faults isolated, and findings discussed with your team.

  4. 04

    Resolve or route to shop

Fixed on site where possible, or a clear recommendation and a path into the shop where not.

Common Questions

Asked before
most enquiries.

Should I remove the suspect unit before calling?
Usually not. A unit that arrives at a shop, tests serviceable and goes back on the aircraft has cost several days and proved nothing, while the fault is still there. Wiring, connectors and interfacing equipment account for a large share of faults blamed on avionics — diagnosing where the fault manifests is often faster.
Do you work alongside our own technicians?
That is the intended model. We support your maintenance team rather than taking the aircraft away from them, and hand over findings and recommendations in writing so your people can act on them.
What if the fault cannot be resolved on site?
You get a clear recommendation and a route into the shop, with the diagnostic work already done rather than repeated from scratch on arrival.

Next Step

Need flightline support?
Tell us the aircraft.

Send the aircraft type, the symptom and the part number if you have it. We will come back with the realistic options.
